1984, I was 16 and lived down the street from Jack Murphy Stadium. This team was an amazing show. Great documentary. Was at Game 5 of the Cubs' series, and Game 2 of the WS! Greatest baseball summer of my life. ❤❤❤ RIP to Show and Wiggins (Wiggins was my favorite '84 player 😢).

I was lucky enough to see Townes Van Zandt in 1996 at the Ashgrove West on the Santa Monica pier... a short lived homage to the original Ashgrove. I had no idea who Townes was but a musician friend told me to buy a ticket. Townes was obviously ill and not 100% but his performance was one of the most amazing and emotional things I have ever seen...

I’m a pro musician - this once-young man did some really beautiful, daring, original vocal things that I’ve never really heard from anybody else. so while many of these people write comments as 48-year-olds living in their mother’s basements or garages and never actually having achieved anything creative in their lives, I have to salute this fellow for trying something truly original and daring. I hope he found happiness and spiritual fulfillment in his life. He may be a pastor… That wouldn’t surprise me!

Townes Van Zandt was such a tapestry of Americana, but the Texan in him always came through. Such an intelligent, gentle soul. His music and natural humor has touched so many, and will continue to do so.

Nowadays, there are twits from the peanut gallery for an audience that make fun of Rock n' Roll and Heavy Metal. Guys in love with Taylor Swift jingles ??!. What a fkn bunch of, you know whats. You can listen to her and a bunch of other award winning twats and throw them all together, give'em a juggle, grab one and play "it," and hardly know the difference. Saying they suck is such an understatement. Society has been watered down by corporates who want people to be compliant. They'll have none of that rebellion because that leads to critical thinking. Media is on a leash to support these monsters. You know what I would do to them. Oh, yes.
